These are the rules to follow while using the DaFuqBoom DaFuqBoom Wiki.
If you believe there is an unfair rule, or if you found that a rule is missing, contact a staff member on their Message Wall or Discord (if they have an account).
Infraction Types
- Reminders are given to a user for a minor/first-time offense. They do not count towards a more severe punishment, meaning that the said user isn't necessarily in trouble. However, they are used to determine if a future infraction counts as a first-time offense.
- Verbal Reminders may be used instead of Reminders for very minor/first-time offenses.
- Warnings firmly tell a user to stop. They are recorded and count towards a block.
- Blocks are given for severe offenses. They temporarily prevent a user from participating in the DaFuqBoom Wiki. They usually aren't too long, and the block time will vary depending on the reason.
- Bans/Indefinite Blocks block a user permanently from the DaFuqBoom Wiki.
General Statements
- Along with following all of the rules below, make sure you are following Fandom's Terms of use.
- You are not allowed to use the DaFuqBoom Wiki if you are below the age of 13 (or 16 if you are in the European Economic Area, the state of California, or the United Kingdom (consisting of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland)).
- You are not allowed to share/trade Fandom accounts. Doing so leads to an immediate warning or block.
- Editors aren't and will not be paid for contributions, as editing is voluntary.
- Do not delete Reminders or Warnings from your Message Wall, as it makes it harder for staff to monitor users. Staff can still bring back your infraction, and you'll receive an additional infraction. Please read the "Appeal" section at the bottom of this article if you want an infraction removed.
- The only exception to this is Verbal Reminders.
Discussion, Commenting, and Messaging Rules
There are a select amount of rules to follow while using the DaFuqBoom Wiki. Please follow them; they are crucial to a peaceful and organized community.
Profanity, NSFW Content, and Racial Slurs
While profanity is allowed on this DaFuqBoom Wiki, excessive use of it and using it against others is not allowed. Do not post anything NSFW-related either, such as images or text. Do not seduce other users or encourage it among users. Abbreviations and emojis encouraging NSFW activity aren't allowed either. Slurs and discriminatory language, whether they're a joke or not, are not allowed.
Pride,religion,politics
this is not allowed to be discussed at all because of others believes. This may cause a warning or a block.
Gore
Do not send or post gory images anywhere in the DaFuqBoom Wiki. Verbal gore is permitted but still has limits.
Toxicity, Trolling, and Raids
Do not start drama, fights, or anything else that would result in a squabble between users. Do not plan or attempt raids on other DaFuqBoom Wikis or this DaFuqBoom Wiki. Raiding will result in a permanent block and a report to Fandom staff.
Offensive Content
Threads discussing topics that may be offensive to some users, such as politics or religion, are prohibited.
Spamming
Do not post something excessively. A glitch sometimes occurs when something is posted multiple times when not intended. This is excused; however, staff can easily tell if it's meant to be spam or not, and they will use their best judgment.
Mini-Modding and Begging for Roles
Do not mini-mod. The action of mini-modding is telling a user what to do and what not to do while not being part of the staff team. Showing them the Rules is fine. However, if a user breaks the rules, contact a staff member. Do not beg to be a staff member, as doing that shows you aren't fit to be a member. When we hire, you may apply.
Advertisement and Scamming
This rule is not final. Please vote and discuss in [this poll] to help make a decision about advertising on this DaFuqBoom Wiki! Do not post scams or malicious links. If you fall for a scam, staff are not responsible for lost currency/items.
Advertisement is allowed but not excessively. Advertisements that lead to domains that go against our Rules will be denied and result in a block. We won't count sending links to YouTube videos as advertising unless the sender tells people to like, subscribe, etc.
Necro-Posting
Do not reply to discussion posts that haven't been responded to in a week. Certain posts are an exception to this if permitted by a staff member. Article Comments and Blog Comments do not count toward necro-posting because they automatically lock after 60 days.
Grave Taunting
Do not taunt or bully anyone because they received an infraction or got blocked from the DaFuqBoom Wiki. This could cause unnecessary drama.
Different Languages
This DaFuqBoom Wiki is primarily an English-speaking DaFuqBoom Wiki. Please refrain from using a language that staff cannot understand. You may speak a different language if an active staff member understands the language.
Minor speech (such as saying "Hola," "Adios," etc.) is acceptable.
Editing Policies
Users are expected to follow these rules to ensure an organized editorial community.
Editing Others' Pages
Do not edit others' user pages without permission.
Edit Farming
Users are not allowed to edit farm (making unnecessary or excessive edits to a page). This can be bypassed if a user is editing their profile or blog post, a staff member is editing an important page (Rules page, Staff page, Template page, Top Navigation, etc.), or a user is reverting repeated vandalism.
Creating useless pages and making useless, non-vandalism edits may also be seen as edit farming.
Perspective
While editing a page, please use a third-person perspective. This means avoiding terms such as "you," "I," or "we." User pages, blog posts, and sandboxes are the only exceptions.
Vandalism
Do not vandalize any page, whether it is a user page or an actual page. Doing so may result in an immediate block.
Edit Warring
Do not engage in edit wars. Edit wars are when people keep reverting edits back and forth on a page. If you are unsure about an edit someone made, calmly try to resolve it on their Message Wall. If it cannot be resolved this way, ask a staff member for their view on which edit seems valid.
Multiple Accounts
Using multiple accounts on the DaFuqBoom Wiki is allowed, but using them for malicious purposes is strictly prohibited.
Sockpuppetry
Using an account to troll on or vandalize the DaFuqBoom Wiki will result in a permanent block. If the sockpuppet owner's main account is found, that will be permanently blocked too.
Block Evasion
Do not attempt to evade a block given to you by creating a new account. If you are caught, all of your found alternate accounts will be blocked, and your main account will receive an extension.
Appeal
If you have a Reminder or Warning on your Message Wall and you want it removed, you may appeal to staff through their Message Wall (The infraction must be INCORRECTLY GIVEN to get it removed). If you are blocked/banned and believe it is unfair, please contact staff via Discord or Community Central, or leave a message on your Message Wall. Note: Anonymous user infractions cannot be appealed or nullified. If you are on an IP with a record of infractions and want a clean record, you may want to consider creating an account.
